Monkey Harness?!?!

Moms! I need your opinion!!

 

My son is 3 years old, and is starting to outgrow strollers. I would never ever dare going out in public without one though. To the mall, zoo, wherever, I always have him in a stroller.

Sometimes, he unbuckles himself, and is off! He will run...and run...and run...

I'm getting to the point where I am truly considering purchasing a Harness Buddy (LEASH!!!)

Before I was a Mother, I will admit...I used to be shocked when I saw parents out and about with their children on leashes. Like HELLO, they aren't animals!!!

 

But now that I am a Mom, with a little boy who is on the run, I am considering purchasing one. I'm figuring hey, he can walk, but I can still make sure he's safe and doesn't get lost etc. 

Looking for feedback of any kind...

What are your opinions on them? Have you used one?

Getting To Know You

Well, I am back from my pre-op, and I am more nervous than ever! I'm normally pretty calm about having surgery, since I've had a few in my time, but I am extra anxious over this one.

Okay... I'm just a baby!

1.If you had 5000.00 to spend on plastic surgery what would you have done?

 My breasts would be the only thing I would get plastic surgery on at my age.

That's going to be my graduation present...to myself. 

 

2. Do you watch Soap operas and if so what is your favorite and why? 

 NO !! 

3. Favorite clothing brand? 

 Bad Religion, Bebe, Guess etc.

4. An afternoon shopping spree at your favorite store or maid service for a year? 

 Definitely the shopping spree. I enjoy cleaning! LOL.

5. would you ever vajazzle? 

 Yes, I actually would! Definitely a personal preference.

6. Favorite Disney Princess? 

 Cinderella. 

7. Last movie that made you bawl your eyes out? 

You know, I actually don't remember. I normally fall asleep within 5 minutes of watching a movie. =] 

8. Have you ever broken any bones and if so what? 

I actually have never. I have a chronic sprain in my left foot.. but I guess that's not a break. LOL.

3 Awards ?!

I just received my third award!!! How exciting!!! This made me feel so great, I go in for my pre-op today and I am getting really nervous. Okay, I'm literally starting to freak out. At least I get a nice, relaxing vacation with my family before my mobility is ripped away from me... right?! One thing to look forward too!

Friday Follow

I cannot believe it is Friday already. It seems the day's are cruising by! That's okay with me... A week from today we are leaving to go up north for 11 days to our gorgeous cabin on a lake. Our entire family goes every year, I need some R & R so bad. Not to worry, I will be taking a ridiculous amounts of pictures to show you all!

Misikko -- WOW

Okay, let's start off with saying these pictures were taken off my phone, I was so excited I didn't want to go search for my camera. A few weeks ago I won a giveaway for a Misikko flat iron. When it came in the mail, I was shocked when I opened it.

First off, how gorgeous is that? White roses, a gorgeous cover, I have never seen a company sponsor a giveaway and really "WOW" me.

I also won a bottle of Shine Shield.

What else was SO neat, was they included a pretty, silky white bag that had nail files and TWO hand sanitizers. I didn't win that. What a thoughtful company.

I am going to try out the hair straighener and shine shield tomorrow! I am a huge hair straightner fan. I straighten my hair daily, and the one I was currently using, a Chi, doesn't impress me! I will update tomorrow on what I found. If I'm feeling in the mood I may even show pictures! LOL. I'm sure the straightner will be fabulous.

Uh-Oh...Spaghetti O's - - RECALL

15 million pounds of Spaghettio's with meatballs have been recalled, due to being under-processed.

Those recalled includes 14.75 oz. cans with a use by date between June 2010 and December 2011

The affected cans can be brought back to the store for refund.

Lucas is 3, and wasn't able to navigate the game by himself, but I didn't mind sitting there and helping! He really liked ALL the games for his age group in StoryLand. He kept saying "Is this cool Mommy? Is it? Is it?"

I certainly am not one to let me child sit on the computer (not to mention a 3 year old) but this was truly fun and educational! My son has a 5 second attention span, but amazingly he really got into the game!  I must say, he loved creating the avatar. It was already set up in my name, but he was perfectly fine with that! He liked picking out my hair, clothing, etc.

I look forward to helping my son play and explore, and will definitely be renewing my membership when it's over! It is completely worth it, and I am convinced your child will love it too!

What a hectic last couple of weeks!! My husband was gone for 8 days for a fishing trip in Canada... I found a place that I really loved to move too (Moving out July 31.. Whoo) and signed the lease and put down all the money. They said they are pretty sure we can bring our Dog, (Even though they normally don't allow animals), but they had to check with the Management to make sure. Well, we found out we got the place (Yay!) but the Management said No to our dog... They said it wouldn't be fair to the other residents. Which I do completely understand.

I had to rehome my dog last Friday. I don't think I have ever been so sad in my entire life. I felt like I was giving away my child. I never cried like that in my life.

I think I may regret this forever. 

What was I supposed to do? We were approved, and our lease was signed. 

Anyway, so I am running around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to pack! Man, it's a lot of work! But I am used to it. We have lived like 8 places in 4 years. Ugh. I end up not liking where we live.. everytime.

July 2-14 we are going on a small vacation! Our family rents this GORGEOUS GORGEOUS cabin up north on the lake every summer. SO excited to go!! I need some R & R. Expect lot's of pictures!!! 

After we come home, I have surgery. July 16. I am having more bone removed, screws put in, and my Achilles tendon re-cut and stretched. I won't be able to walk for at least 3 months, so I am really starting to panic. What's a SAHM/Housewife supposed to do?!?! 

As of now.. my plan is to have this house completely packed by the 1st of July.

I will completely clean the home July 14 and July 15, and then be out of commission after that. Let's pray everything goes as planned!!!!!!!!

OH, & I am currently doing a review for an amazing, award winning online  educational games for kids! With a giveaway!

First off, greatest apologies for not posting anything really useful lately! I have been SO busy, between garage sales, doctor's appointments, planning a vacation, looking for a new place to live, and planning a future surgery.
