If you wanna stay w/ blogger but have it be the domain instead of blogspot go to your settings, publishing, custom domain and you can do it right through blogger for $10 a year.
Otherwise I've been told that Go Daddy is the way to go

I've heard that GoDaddy is great if you are only using it to point people back to your blogspot. If you are looking for good customer support and someone to actually build a website, that HostGator is better. I've been debating on mine too. Yahoo Business has a deal right now $1.99 for the first year and you save the more years you sign up for. Be careful, though, I've noticed that for all of these companies the price they show does NOT include the privacy add-on they require you to buy to not give out all your personal information.
